THE BEGINNING IN is a chapbook by Lesley Yalen published by minutes BOOKS. A pre-printing of 26 copies with hand-drawn covers was made for a reading at the Green Street Cafe on December 8, 2010. The first printing of 100 copies (hand-sewn and -numbered by the author) was first available at AWP. It has since been trimmed to a seven inch square and is available here for $7 (+ shipping) or with other minutes BOOKS, at the CUNY Chapbook and Juniper Festivals, and in the best bookstores: Flying Object, Amherst BooksAda Books, and (soon) Pilot Books. Reading THE BEGINNING IN

Trimming THE BEGINNING IN

In honor of Reb Joshua Bolton's birth(yester)day, seven by seven copies of THE BEGINNING IN were trimmed to their appointed size: 7" by 7". It happened, on the one ton paper cutter atFlying Object, like this:
